One of our first priorities to push Ellman Design into the future, was to organize and ‘freshen-up’ our office space.

Located in the beautiful, historic Toronto Carpet Factory, the stage was set already and we weren’t looking to move anywhere. With a few layout tweaks here and there, some new furniture and  a fresh coat of paint, our ‘studio’ space could be catapulted into the future. Our goal: to be able to handle the majority of the upgrades ourselves and put our $$ into some new desks, task chairs and a long-desired kitchenette. The biggest hurdle would be to reduce our expansive material/sample library, which has sprawled into every vacant space on the floor plan. But thanks to the likes of SketchUp, IKEA and the talented minds that work here, our feasibility study proved to be a more than feasible direction…

Stay tuned for more renovation updates!
